Glass melts into liquid at 1200 degree Celsius, in this form it can be gathered around a hollow pipe and blown to form hollow objects, with the help of various other tools.
Later when glass cools down with an annealing phase, it retains its form with its transparency and colors.
During a 2 weeks Glass-blowing course, conducting in the winters of 2018 in NID, i learnt and created pieces in the technique of Glass Blowing with the help of an experienced artisan from Firozabad.
